Please let me know if you would be willing to donate $4.00 to help witht he expenses of our Christmas tree for the Christmas Program. The tree will be coming down the beginning of this week. It is my plan to auction off the hand painted ornaments at the auction on February 17th. Students will also be working on a scrap book and hand painted glassware. Projects will be completed on Friday evenings after school during the month of January (6, 13, 20 & 27) from 3:30 - 6:00 p.m. Participation is optional, but appreciated very much! Dinner will be provided by a different parent(s) each Friday night. I will take care of January 6. Let me know if you would be willing to provide dinner, or come and take charge of one of the craft stations. Volunteers will be accepted for one night, all four nights, or anything in between.
This Friday, chapel will be combined. We will leave the classroom at 8:40 for chapel.
On Dec. 19th, there will be a $5.00 Pajama Dress Down Day. The money will go towards our auction projects. Students who do not want to wear PJs could wera sweatpants instead. This is optional. I think there may be a free Red & Green Dress Down Day on Dec.21st. I will double check and let you know for sure.
The Christmas Program was FANTASTIC! We are waiting on the results of the Christmas Tree Contest. Pictures of the program would be appreciated. SOMEONE........left her keys at home and could not get her camera out of the closet. I won't mention any names..........but you know who.............!
Don't forget that on Dec. 20th is our class Christmas Party, to be followed by a field trip to Emeritus. Students will share all eight songs of the Christmas Program. Each student has chosen one of the songs and will be adding something special to our program for the grandmas and grandpas. Parents, don't forget your cameras. Is there anyone who is coming that could tape it for us? I will need chaperones, drivers, and stage mothers, fathers, aunts, uncles....to help get everyone ready once we get there. Car seats will be needed. Please label the seat with your child's name. Last trip we had two seats that looked the same.
Several parents have asked if CDs of the Christmas Program will be for sale. I will try to find the answer to that question.
